Dear Joyce Grant,

On the last week I have read your article "Blood Donors Needed: Canadian Blood Services". I am writing to you to express my opinion about it.

The article makes to think that many people live and think only about themselves. They do not interested in other peoples´ problems. However, some people all over the world are suffering because of some diseases and need blood for the operation. Other people nothing think about these people until it touches them.

In my opinion it is not difficult to spend some time to go to the hospital and donate blood. Nobody suffer because of it but other way round, you help somebody and perhaps, save somebody`s life.

In conclusion, I would like to say that it was interesting to read this article and thanks to it I learned some new facts about blood.

Are Traditions Important?

I think tradition is very important thing in people lives. Someone has personal tradition, other has tradition with his friend or family. The main tradition for me is family tradition. Because it can be inherited across the generations and it is interesting, when you do something as your ancestor, who lived a few years ago. Also it unite family and it`s history.
Countries and towns in them have traditions too. Personally, I think that every inhabitant of his country must to know it`s traditions. It do our lives more exciting and amazing.

Writting a Summery

The headline of the article I have read is "Climate Change: Facing The Future". The author is Emma Douty. It is published on the 5th of June in 2012 in British Council.
The article is about future of our planet. The author starts by telling, that global warming will in fact cause extreme weather conditions. In 1000 years or so, low coastal regions (such as Florida in the USA) and more will be submerged underwater.
Further the author says about places, where will be able to live. Unless we can find a way to evolve into mermaids and mermen, which doesn`t look promising, the only solution is to move elsewhere. Countries that we consider to be hot these days will be even more so if temperatures increase by 5, 10, even 15 degrees; countries like Australia and India, among others.
The author concludes, if people start to realise how their actions now can have such a profound impact on future generations, they will change their attitude and start to think more about caring for the environment, in order to save it. If not, we`ll be living in a world underwater and will need to think of a way to turn ourselves into mermaids.

Write a story about riding on a train with an honest robber, who returns stolen money.

I like traveling very much. And I try do this every summer. Usually I travel abroad with my family, and sometimes with my friends by plane. But I remember a case, when I went abroad alone. I went in Moscow on a train. It was the second riding, when I went alone somewhere. I was sitting near the window and going to sleep because the weather was bad: there was the rain and sometimes the thunder. In the compartment, there I was, sat a woman with her little daughter and a men. The woman was calm, she read a book and her daughter slept. The man was embarrassed and restless. He searched something in the bag and I thought, that he was afraid. After some minutes he took a little brown purse out the bag. The woman was surprised. It was her purse and she snatched it out of his hands. Turned out, he was a real petty robber. Up to this I don`t understand, why he returned the purse. He stole many things and even didn`t think about this. I hope, that it was the last theft in his life.

In the back ground I see trees and colour balloons. I think it is summer because trees are green and the sun is shining.

The Headless Earl

Thomas Percy, the 7th Earl of Northumberland, was one of the most powerful men in 16th century England. As a staunch catholic, he continually opposed the reign of the protestant queen, Elizabeth I, from his strongholds in the North. He was involved in a long series of unsuccessful intrigues, battles and sieges designed to overthrow the lady, before finally having to flee to Scotland.

Betrayed and captured, Northumberland was eventually dragged in chains back to York to be executed for treason. Both the Pope and the King of Spain tried to buy a stay of execution, but it was not to be. Thomas was beheaded on 22nd August 1572 and his head stuck on a large spike on Micklegate Bar as a warning to would be traitors. It remained there for many years until it was eventually rescued by a sympathiser and buried in the churchyard of Holy Trinity Goodramgate. To this day, the headless form of the Earl staggers between the graves, of a night, searching for his capital loss.

Surgeon

It is an interesting profession. This profession requires great responsibility because it deals with the most precious thing that a person has – with his health.
The main task of surgeon is operate on the people. After each operation he takes care of patients until they are recovered.
The surgeon has to listens very attentively to what his patients tell him. He has to kind and attentive to his patients.
Every surgeon wants to see all his patients able.

Household.
1. I hate doing the ironing because it takes a lot of time, as my family is big.
2. I don`t mind taking dog for a walk and tidying my room.
3. I don`t like peeling potatoes and carrot. It gets on my nerves.

Drama

One day a little girl came back home. She opened the door. There was silent at home. She called her mother but there was no answer. She called again but nobody still answered her. She came into the first room. There was a big mess and most of the things there were displaced. She came into the second room. Then she walked up on the second floor and came into the third room. She saw a terrible picture: her mother was laying on the floor and there was blood around her. The girl ran up to her and started to cry. Suddenly, her mother stood up and started to laugh. As it turned out, the red pool on the floor was not blood but paint. The girl lost her consciousness. Then ambulance arrived.
Nobody knows about that joke, that's why nobody understands why that girl has become a stammerer.

Rewrite your favourite part of the book using yourself as a character and a favourite place as a setting.

From story "The Sheep-Pig" I want to describe my favourite moment, when Babe rescued the sheep:
"One day Fly and mr. Hogget drove out of the yard to the market in the next village. Babe saw the sheep. Then he ran up to the north field. He looked for the sheep.
Suddenly he heard a noise. The sheep ran around field. Babe stopped and calmed their. He said to the sheep what he will defend their.
At once two men tried the catch Babe but he can run away between their legs.
Mrs Hogget heard a noise and called the police. They caught the men.
In the evening Mrs Hogget told to her husband about an accident and confessed, what she don`t going to kill Babe, because he saved sheep`s life."
This moment I remembered, because Baby didn`t afraid and helped the sheep.
In my opinion Babe is clever and very nice pig.

Recently, I have started reading an interesting book. The author is Dick King-Smith and it is called "The Sheep-Pig". Here is a short overview of the book:
"Mr. Hogget is a sheep farmer. He live in a village with his wife. They have a sheep-dog Fly and her children.
One day Farmer Hogget won the small and clever pig. Mrs Hogget wanted to kill pig and made the Christmas dinner. Fly loved pig and stayed for him second mother.
Fly went with Farmer Hogget at work. They worked with the sheep. The pig wanted learn to be a sheep-pig and Fly helped him.
Once, Mr Hogget brought the old sheep, she was ill."

Lifestyle of person.

The lifestyle of this person is very active and interesting but stressful. He is slim and sporty, with strong muscles. His goal is to run very fast and much. He visits many different countries with his team and earns very much money. Unfortunately, his specialization finishes early - in the age of 35. After 35 he can become a coach.
He is an open-air-player and has got many fans. I like watching this person doing his work.
